The Company
The UK’s market leaders in the renewable energy sector who employ over 300
and generate a turnover in excess of £100m. Growing organically and through
the acquisition of rival businesses they are continually increasing their dominant
market position. They are heavily supported by the governments renewable
obligation certificates (ROC’s) and are entering into a major recruitment drive, to
support growth and the recent acquisition of a major rival.

The Role
Covering Southern England, in a mobile and managerial capacity, your
responsibilities will include:
*Specification, upgrade and repair of instrumentation associated with
power generation from biogas #pipework orientated#.
*PLC commissioning, upgrades, programming and alterations on Allen
Bradley and Siemens S7. This will involve interfacing with SCADA.
*Electrical installation and repairs.
*Working to a maintenance programme which is supported by Maximo
software.
*Budget control, P&L accountability in your region, supervision of
contractors and management of a junior C&I Engineer.
*Report writing, input into senior management meetings, identifying
commercial viable improvements and compliance with H&S legislation.

The Candidate
*Candidates for this position must have a comprehensive technical
background with controls, instrumentation and electrical engineering.
*To be considered for this position the minimum requirement is a HNC, with a HND or Degree the preferred qualification, in a relevant discipline.
*Previous experience on gas specific instrumentation and/or Allen
Bradley or Siemens PLC’s is advantageous but not essential.

managerial or technical routes will be available. The need to be flexible to
support the needs of the business is essential, as is a willingness to travel. You
will ideally have easy access to the M25 and M1.

The Package
This role offers a salary of £34-38k with an annual bonus of up to 15% of your
salary. As part of your role you are provided with a fully expensed company
van/vehicle, laptop and mobile phone. You also receive a 6% stakeholder
pension contribution, life assurance and the option of private medical care.
