Shift Team Leader, Power Generation

We currently have a vacancy in the Norfolk area for a Shift Team Leader to work various shifts within the Power Sector supervising a team of Plant Operators/ Operations Technicians.

Managing a team of Operators you will be responsible for the safe and efficient starting up, shutting down and operation of the plant of plant including:

Steam Boilers,
Steam Turbines,
Flue Gas Treatment,
Water Treatment,
Heat Exchangers,

You may also be responsible for supervising the control room to ensure plant is working within health, safety and environmental guidelines as well as maintaining maximum production.

This position is challenging and demanding and as such will require enthusiastic and experienced individual. This is an excellent industry which will give you the potential to enhance your career within the rapidly growing and secure power sector.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience as a team leader within a process environment either working as Shift Team Leader or Production Team Leader. Experience gained in the Power Station, Waste, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Marine industries is essential.

The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth a salary in the region of £27-30,000 (depending on experience) + a good benefits package. This is a shift based role.
