Operations Technician/ Plant Operator, Power Generation

We currently have vacancies across several sites in the East Anglia for Operations Technicians/ Plant Operators to work various shifts within the Power Sector

Working within a team of Operators you will be responsible for the safe and efficient starting up, shutting down and operation of the plant of plant including:

Steam Boilers,
Steam Turbines,
Flue Gas Treatment,
Water Treatment,
Heat Exchangers,

You will also be responsible for monitoring equipment both locally and sometimes from a control room to ensure plant is working within health, safety and environmental guidelines as well as maintaining maximum production.

These positions are challenging and demanding and as such will require enthusiastic and experienced individuals. This is an excellent industry which will give you the potential to enhance your career within the rapidly growing and secure power sector.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience within a process environment either working as an Operator/ Watch Keeper or a Production Technician. Experience gained in the Power Station, Waste, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Marine industries would be very beneficial.

The package on offer to the successful applicant is worth a salary in the region of £21-25,500 (depending on experience) + a good benefits package. This is a shift based role.
