Shift Operations Technician (Lev 1) - £23,185 to £30,479 - Coventry, West Midlands

You will be an integral member of the shift team responsible for the safe and effective operation of all plant & systems working within a team of operations technicians and you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant including: steam boilers, steam turbines, flue gas treatment, water treatment, and heat exchangers.

To be successful you will have gained experience in power, waste to energy, chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical or marine industries either working as an operator or production technician and you will have boiler and steam turbine experience together with mechanical engineering skills to undertake PPM (planned preventative maintenance) schedules and breakdown repairs.

You will start on days for training purposes (M-T 08:00 to 16:30 & F 08:00 to 13:00) for a 37-hour week & overtime payments will be paid should you be required to work a rostered shift at short notice.

You will be expected to make their Lev 2 grade within your first year (£23,935 to £31,465) with enhanced remuneration with Lev 4 attracting a salary of £27,150 to £35,691.
