Service Engineer – Electronic / Optical Equipment – Manchester

A successful, high profile company in the Electronic / Optical Equipment sector is now seeking to recruit a Service Engineer to be based out of offices in the Manchester area. The role requires a lot of interaction with European clients and so fluency in German or French language is required.

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering and have at least 4 years experience in a role focusing on troubleshooting & repair of electronic equipment. Full training on the product range will be provided.

You will be responsible for providing customers with technical services, ranging from start-up and service to troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of complex electronic/optical sorting machines. In this role you must be willing to travel at least 80% of the time to both UK and overseas locations. Starting salary dependent on experience will be up to £30,000 + Benefits.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Service Engineer, Field Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, EPOS Engineer and living within a commutable distance of Manchester, Stockport, or willing to relocate.
