This is a key role for an ambitious quality manager from an electrical M and E, MV equipment construction background looking for an exciting career in a market leading supplier of wind energy solutions.

* Globally renowned supplier of turnkey wind energy solutions needs an ambitious quality manager from an electrical M and E, MV or construction or other site based engineering background such as wind or power generation.
* Proven ability needed of managing sub-contractors, suppliers and systems quality and a passion for improving quality standards.
* 5 years plus experience needed in an electrical M and E, buliding services or MV equipment role and ideally with experience of inspecting and testing MV electrical equipment and also an engineering degree qualification.

Accredited already to ISO9001 2000 your role will involve maintaining and improving quality standards and systems across the company. You will also undertake all quality audits and developing an audit programme for the business. The diverse and challenging role also involves the inspection of MV electrical equipment as well as subcontractor standards and the quality control of construction sites to ensure they comply with standards. You will also be managing QA and developing quality plans for individual projects. All of this is then reported to the head of projects and manging director.

The successful candidate will have 5 years plus experience in QA/QC management within an electrical M and E, building services, MV equipment or construction background and should have an engineering degree to compliment this experience. You also need to be able to work at heights and any knowlege of SAP would also be a benefit. Any MV electrical equipment knowledge would be an advantage, as would being a member of the Institute of QA.
