Plant Manager - Energy from Waste - Midlands

Experienced Power Generation Plant Manager sought by world leading organisation in the Energy from Waste / Integrated Waste Management business for their site in the Midlands. Excellent remuneration package available.

Working for a leading player in the Energy sector, this Waste to Energy plant is looking for a new Plant Manager. Reporting to the board of Directors, you will lead a team of circa 30 staff including direct reports from the Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager, O&M teams including Team Leaders, etc,

If successful you will take full responsibility for the successful operation of the plant, ensuring that all systems are implemented and managed effectively and efficiently - health, safety, environmental, plant performance, etc and that the plant maintains a strong commercial position. A good understanding of UK Environmental and Health & Safety measures would help you to succeed.

To be considered you should have experience as a Plant Manager in a Power Generation facility - Power Station, CCGT, etc, or Energy from Waste plant - Municipal, Biomass or similar type Power Plant facility. Experienced Operations Managers or Maintenance Managers with the desire to move up the career ladder are also invited to apply. You must have the drive and motivation to be successful in leading a skilled power generation team.
