Supervising an engineer team this is an outstanding opportunity for an technically experienced engineer to train and develop a team of designers.

In this position you will be working for a company renowned in the industry for its professional approach, good working environment and interesting projects taken on. The company have particular expertise in the nuclear industry with many well known clients across the country. Recent expansions in the profile of their projects has lead to the company now designing multi-million pound test rigs- thus the need for more expertise on the design.

To be considered for this position you must have significant expertise within the nuclear industry and have an in depth understanding of test rigs. An understanding of Sellafield and the standards associated with this would be a distinct advantage.

Your role will consist of not only supervising and developing the staff that will work under you but also controlling the design process and supervising the sub-contract design work associated with it. You will be making critical assessments of designs and the systems in place and hence making further improvements where necessary.

As you role develops you will be given targets to work to and opportunities to increase your salary accordingly.

The role will be due to start in April, however the process will start immediately to identify the right person.
