The Company
Waste treatment company specialising in dealing with environmentally friendly solutions for the disposal of common household waste. The company then produce electricity from the by products of their treatment process which they sell to National Grid. The company are opening a new site in Northamptonshire as part of a plan to open a number of sites across the UK and as a result are recruiting for a number of maintenance engineers for their Northamptonshire site.

The Role
You will cover electrical and mechanical site breakdowns and planned maintenance for equipment including gearboxes, motors, conveyors and drives. The position will operate on a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern consisting of 12 hour days and nights.

Electrical systems will run on three phase controls and many of the mechanical problems you will encounter will be pneumatic in nature.

The Candidate
You will need to be conversant with 415 V Electrical Work and have the mechanical competency to work with gearboxes, motors and conveyers. You should have excellent fault finding skills and be flexible in your approach to working shifts. Some of the work you will do is outside so you need to be happy working in potentially tough and challenging conditions

Starting basic salary is £35,000 - 40,000
