Project Engineer (Power) / Petrochem Contracts Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for a career orientated Senior Project Engineer to join this leading light in the Standby Power industry. Due to ongoing expansion, they now have a large number of Projects to carry out to a broad range of clients.
The role itself involves providing project engineering and technical support to the installation of diesel standby generators - supporting system components such as HV / MV / LV switchgear, UPS systems, PLC control panels, CHP plant etc, providing technical expertise on site, liaising with internal workshop Engineers and external clients. Typical size of the projects ranges from £3 million to 6 million with many of these projects lasting several years.
The successful Projects Engineer will be an engineering graduate (electrical, electronics, physics, mechatronics or similar) with relevant experience in a project management / project engineering role. You will be required to visit client sites and so a clean license will be needed as will a good client facing manner.
