SOFTWARE ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / £40K TO £50K
* Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to work in a dynamic environment on challenging projects
* As a member of the Multimedia System Solutions Group, you will be part of a team of highly skilled & motivated engineers, developing solutions to address the challenges faced by key customers in the video processing space across broadcast, military, video conferencing & video surveillance applications
* We are keen to hear from accomplished SOFTWARE ENGINEERS with strong hands on development skills in C / C++ &/or Java
* You must also have exp developing video processing algorithms & systems for compression schemes (H.264, MPEG2, ProRes) & multi-streaming video applications
* Exp in SystemC, VHDL &/or Verilog
* Familiarity with ESL tool flows & methodologies, particularly of their use in system on chip design highly desirable
This varied & challenging SOFTWARE ENGINEER’s position includes:
- Developing video processing solutions to enable rapid development of complex FPGA based System-On-Chip video designs
- Developing video processing functions (e.g multi-tap scaling, motion adaptive de interlacing) standard interfaces & protocol for data transmission, software for control & configuration, system debug solutions & 1080p60 capable reference designs to demonstrate the tool flow & silicon capabilities
- Developing multi-stream video applications (e.g for broadcast studio HD monitoring), & working in a small team to develop scalable & configurable video codec solutions, initially targeting H.264 & MPEG2
