Service Engineer – Electronic and Optical Equipment – Germany, Deutschland

A successful, high profile company in the Electronic and Optical Equipment sector is now seeking to recruit a Service Engineer to be home based living near to a major airport in Germany. The role requires a lot of interaction with European clients and so fluency in German and English language is required.

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering and have at least 4 years experience in a role focusing on troubleshooting & repair of electronic equipment. Full training on the product range will be provided.

You will be responsible for providing customers with technical services, ranging from start-up and service to troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of complex electronic/optical sorting machines. In this role you must be willing to travel at least 80% of the time to European and overseas locations (EMEA). Starting salary dependent on experience will be up to €40.000 to €45.000 + Benefits.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Service Engineer, Field Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, EPOS Engineer and living within a commutable distance of a major German airport – Berlin, Munich, Koln, Stuttgart or Frankfurt.
