SENIOR SUPPORT ENGINEER / EAST SUSSEX / £30K-£35K

* Interesting role providing support operations by quickly responding to shop-floor problems encountered in building &/or testing of products
* In this exciting role you will develop final test equipment solutions for new &/or legacy products & support cost-reduction & obsolescence activities
We are keen to hear from skilled SUPPORT ENGINEERS with exp working in an electronic discipline. You will have contributed in some way to New Product Development through one or more of the following:
1) Supporting Development Engineering Teams in building/testing prototype products
2) Supporting Development Engineering Teams in Type Testing of prototype products
3) Responsible for design/build of New Products
4) Responsible for design/application of Test equipment used in validation of Product
Other key skills required include ability to:
- Read/understand circuit diagrams
- Build prototype circuits using prototyping board etc
- Fault find circuits to component level
- Use basic hand tools in the construction of equipment enclosures etc
- Good PC / wiring skills;able to use a range of crimp tools etc
- Good communicator/team player/able to work on own initiative
- HND in Electronics or equiv
- Familiar with basic service test equipment/DMMs/oscilloscopes etc
