SENIOR RF DESIGN ENGINEER / COUNTY DURHAM / £NEG

Industry leader seeks Senior RF Design Engineer for RF / Microwave electrical design & development. Your challenges will involve:
* Compilation & checking of design documentation, example design logbooks, data packs, peer review etc. in preparation for design release & production
* Supporting New Product Introduction for assigned projects
* Problem solving & fault diagnosis of manufactured products during product introduction
* Pro-actively participate in design reviews & liase regularly & effectively with other departments to communicate status / risks
* Undertake all aspects of design verification & validation including preparation of test specifications, test reports & reliability testing / evaluation
To apply for this exciting position you will be an accomplished RF DESIGN ENGINEER with the following skills:
- Demonstrable general microwave design experience
- Able to simulate & analyse RF/microwave line-ups & elements
- Excellent measurement skills using microwave test equipment
- Exp in design & development of microwave components (>5GHz)
- Exp in microwave design of packaging for products as above
- Exp with Microwave Office & AutoCAD beneficial
- Knowledge & experience of design for high volume manufacture
Knowledge of manufacturing processes & supplier processes beneficial
