RF TEAM LEADER / COUNTY DURHAM / £NEG

To apply for this exciting position you must have:
- Proven solid experience in RF / Microwave design / development environment
- Exp managing, motivating & directing a small team of Engineers
- Exp of System & Statistical Analysis
- Experienced using RF CAD tools (e.g MWO, ADS etc)
- Technical Report writing skills
- Managing project timescales/costs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working within cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing & test requirements & appreciation of associated design constraints
- Knowledge of radio communications systems highly desirable
In this varied & challenging role, the ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER will:
* Manage/develop/coach a team of engineers & technicians, conducting performance appraisals & agreeing development plans for each member
* Contribute to new product designs, modify existing designs & do tolerance analysis as required using appropriate software tools (e.g MWO)
* Achieve project timescales & report on risks, both technical & project related
* Monitor material costs & regularly update BOMs
* Ensure design reviews are held throughout the project
* Manage developments in line with NPI process, ensuring Tollgate reports are written/updated to required standard & ensure that relevant documentation exists
