RF Design Engineer

A market leading independent electronic design consultancy based in North Essex / South Cambridge has an immediate requirement for a RF Design Engineer to join their Radio Group.
You will ideally have a MEng qualification in an appropriate Electronics based subject. You will have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

You will also:

•Be able to demonstrate good RF systems design experience, including an understanding of modulation techniques, EVM, noise figure, intercept points and compression.
•Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the fundamentals of RF circuit design, including Smith charts, S Parameters design and basic analogue design techniques.
•Have working experience of RF CAD and able to understand the limitations.
•Have experience of schematic entry and high frequency PCB layout techniques.
•Be able to prepare specifications and technical reports.
•Have an appreciation of production test requirements and design for manufacture.
Salary Circa £35,000 + benefits
