MMIC DESIGN ENGINEER / COUNTY DURHAM / £NEG

* Our client has an exiting opportunity for an experienced MMIC DESIGN ENGINEER to join their successful engineering team
* We are keen to hear from designers with knowledge of GaAs MMICs in the 1-40GHz range
* Must also have the ability to act as a specialist designer in one or more of the following areas: high power amplifiers, up & down converters & variable gain amplifiers
* Other key criteria include extensive experience in microwave product design
* Exp of microwave circuit design & test
* Knowledge of microwave design software
In this key MMIC DESIGN role the main tasks are:
- Design individual & multi-function MMICs including HPAs & Receivers
* Design, model & simulate MMIC structures including packaging, to meet customer requirements.
* Technical leadership & innovation in MMIC design
