TEST ENGINEER / CAMBRIDGESHIRE / c£35K
- Our client has a challenging position for a self-motivated, independent & resourceful Test Engineer
- Applicants will have the ability to take the initiative required to develop & implement test methods, software (LabView) & equipment for P-OLED test cells & displays
- Role includes experimental & non-standard test requests for displays & assist with failure analysis of devices & displays. To apply for this exciting position you must have:
* Direct experience in product testing preferably in a physics, optoelectronics or electronics production environment
* Strong programming skills in LabView & Visual Basic
* Exp of software-hardware communication interfaces - General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB), serial communications (USB, RS232)
* General knowledge in optics a distinct advantage
In this key role, the TEST ENGINEER will:
- Design & carry out experiments, improving confidence in test results
- Carry out experimental & non-standard test procedures
- Maintain equipment & software ensuring it is operational, propose & implement upgrades
- Implement/monitor best practices in device testing
- Monitor usage of equipment & work to maximise utilisation & efficiency
