As a market leader in the provision of testing and certification services this billion pound global organization continues to flourish. Having doubled their turnover in the last 4 years, the business has again achieved double digit growth in 2009. As part of their expansion for 2010 there is a need for another internal/graduate sales engineer to join the team
THE ROLE
As an internal/graduate sales engineer your role will be to provide day to day sales support to the field sales team. Working within a high performance team you will be responding to incoming enquiries from customers who need to test electronic components that will go in to potentially explosive environments. You will be trained to build technical relationships with the customer so you can understand the need, recommend and then quote the right solution. As you develop you will begin to research new markets and target competitor accounts. You will then cold call to identify the relevant decision maker and hopefully generate leads. As you grow in the role you will be goal managed to start customer facing with the sales manager.
THE CANDIDATE
Currently our client is only accepting applications form candidates who have the following:
• An electrical or electronic degree with 6-12 months work experience in any environment. (sales experience would be a bonus)
• A UK passport
• In addition you must have the drive and commitment to want to develop an area and a career with a rapidly growing organization.
• Commutable to the office in Surrey
