ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
SCOPE:
Long established and expanding engineering manufacturing company producing high quality testing equipment with worldwide sales.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
Knowledge and experience of design and build of electrical/electronic control panels for machines.
Knowledge and experience of electronics.
Knowledge and experience of Windows based computer operating systems (Able to configure hardware and software systems, create recovery discs, troubleshoot, etc.)
Knowledge and experience of CAD to create and modify circuit diagrams, etc.
Desirable:
Practical experience in engineering industry.
Experience of creating operating Procedures and Manuals.
Experience of optical systems.
Full Clean Driving Licence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main:
Manufacture, or service, test and calibrate company products.
Create ‘installation’, ‘set-up’ and ‘recovery’ CD’s for equipment.
Troubleshoot, by telephone and/or e-mail, customer problems.
Train and be trained by other employees in order to maximize flexibility of the company.
Support the compliance of the Company within the terms of its’ accreditation.
Subsidiary:
Complete all necessary testing and paperwork to ensure high quality, timely, dispatch of products.
Pack and prepare product for dispatch.
Manage appropriate stocks of parts and assemblies to ensure continuity of supply of products.
Create ‘CD based’ and ‘hard copy’ product Manuals.
Create or modify drawings and operating Procedures, as required.
Work with designers and sub-contract manufacturers to create new or improved products.
Other functions, as required.

TRAINING:
