DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY

You will be responsible for developing solutions for applications tasks with internal and external customers, independently developing and implementing these solutions. You will develop automation tasks for vehicle and drive test and define the requirements of products, as well as assisting in software design and quality test in the field test module. You will analyse and resolve technical and customer enquiries in collaboration with development. You will reproduce errors and test solutions. You will prepare and evaluate automated test runs. You will ensure Software integration of components in the test environment as well as preparing documentation to support users ensuring Software commissioning, maintenance and customer care.

Qualified to degree level in electronics, automotive engineering or a similar discipline, you will have a working knowledge of Windows NT, 2000 or XP. You will have experience of or an interest in automation systems, modelling and simulation as well as data processing and visualization. You must have good communication and customer relations skills. You must be flexible and able to work well both in a team and independently. The role will involve travelling.
