As Applications Engineeer, you will be involved in software development on real-time systems as well as production and integration of models in the real time simulation environment. The role will also have responsibility for the integration of controllers (eg. ESP, Hybrid ECU), and visiting customer sites to integrate the technology and provide initial training.

You should be qualified to degree level in mathematics, engineering or computer science with first class programming knowledge (C/C++) and knowledge of Real time systems (blank Linux). You should ideally have knowledge of electronic controllers (ESP, engine ECU) as well as basic knowledge of electrical measuring techniques and physics (mechanics, electro-technology). Experience of Matlab/ Simulink or other simulation tools would be desirable. You must be flexible, able to work on your own initiative as well as having good problem solving skills.
