Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer on a permanent basis to work on defence projects with an immediate start.

To be considered for the role you MUST have the following:

Experience, development, administration and maintenance of EAI / Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) and Portal & Collaboration components is essential.

Proven experience of day to day management of internal systems and architecture.

Proven experience of working with external suppliers within a project management capacity.

Desirable qualities include:

Experience of development, administration and maintenance of workflows in BMC Remedy (helpdesk / support system) or similar tool.

Experience in a development role using Java would be preferred.

Background with an exposure to working with transnational and divergent cultures and operating within a distributed team environment..

Degree in a relevant subject.

The role is based in Stevenage but travel to other UK and EU sites may be required.
