Red River’s client is an established, multi-disciplinary consultancy providing specialist professional engineering services within the industrial, power, energy, engineering and building services sectors.
The company is currently seeking a Principal Engineer with extensive experience within the Mechanical Building Services industry. The successful candidate will be involved in seeking out business development opportunities, as well as the preparation of proposals, technical designs and specifications.
Qualifications, skills & experience:
* BSc CEng. MCIBSE/MIMechE or equivalent.
* Candidates should have strong technical knowledge and design capabilities. They should be familiar with UK design standards and UK Health and Safety Regulations.
* Candidates should be able to design for new projects or refurbishments across a range of areas from care homes, schools, colleges and transport infrastructure to commercial and industrial properties.
* Candidates should have broad experience to be able to lead, support and develop other mechanical engineers within the team.
* Good client liaison skills, combined with project/contract management are essential.
