Rail M&E Project Engineer - working on Network Rail projects
Salary:
£35,000 - £40,000 + Package
Location:
Based in London, may have to lodge away depending on project locations.
Role Description:
Working as part of a Rail infrastructure team you will be working on various projects predominantly in the South East. How ever the projects that are tendered for are based across the UK so you must be flexible to lodge away where required.
There are 2 areas that my client is looking at, Low Voltage dealing with track side power from Points heating, Signal power supplies and lighting. The other side is the Station M&E from lighting both internal and flood lit, Power, Heating, Lifts and escalators.
Either skill set would be good as there are 2 positions covering each role. More important is having both the technical knowledge and site experience working along side the project managers dealing with these aspects of the project. Ideally having worked on Network Rail projects and dealing with the GRIP procedures would be the ideal candidate.
Required Experience:
A strong background in M&E construction with in a Rail environment is key as you will need your skills to hit the ground running. Qualifications in a relevant M&E subject be it mechanical or electrical is also required.
PLEASE NOTE
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position.
