Job Title: Senior Support Worker (Deputy Manager)
Reporting to: Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities
Salary: £16K
Location: Halesowen, Birmingham, West Midlands

Suitable applicants are invited to apply for the role of Senior Support Worker, your duties will be to assist the Registered Manager to contribute to the day to day management of the home. You will assist in providing effective assessment, support planning and management for adults with a learning disability. Specifically, to contribute to the development of a performance led service.

You must posses sound knowledge of Learning Disabilities, and in-depth knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks, e.g. Supporting People, statutory powers, guidance frameworks and duties, together with well developed skills to ensure that these are implemented and adhered to in the Home etc.

You must also have the ability to manage and lead a team in the absence of the Registered Care Manager, and also the ability to ensuring that the Home management activity delivers outcomes for people in line with national and local performance and outcomes indicators.

A minimum of 2 years experience of delivering support services, relevant experience of working with people with learning disabilities, 2 years relevant supervisory experience, and also and NVQ Level 3/LDAF required.
