We are currently recruiting for a Director of Quality for an exciting opportunity with a leading Aerospace Manufacturing company.

The role will be responsible for providing leadership and management for the quality function, building and sustaining the quality philosophy and lean culture for the business through the maintenance and optimisation of an effective quality management system.

Candidates will be expected to formulate, implement and maintain the processes and procedures required from a company with many international quality approvals e.g. nadcap.

International travel will also be expected.

Candidates who wish to apply for the role of Director of Quality must be educated to an appropriate level, have substantial experience in a Quality Management role within the Aerospace industry ideally, although other industries may be considered such as Automotive. In addition to this you must have experience of advanced quality system implementation and be able to train and mentor other members of staff where appropriate. Knowledge of lean/six sigma and quality assurance as well as quality control is essential. Composite manufacturing experience is also highly desirable.
