An extensive client base and high levels of growth mean that a vacancy now exists for a Transmission Calibrator to join the DTS Controls and Applications department of one of the world leaders in the development of engine and vehicle technology.

This is your chance to be part of the company’s business development initiatives, representing their capabilities to potential customers.

As Transmission Calibrator, you will be responsible for supporting client projects in Europe, China and other locations through shift strategy and the shift quality calibration of automatic transmission equipped vehicles.

Qualified to degree level, you will have experience of working in Powertrain calibration and a keen aptitude for vehicle development via control system calibration.

You will also have an understanding of automatic transmissions, their mode of operation from both mechanical control perspectives.

Experience of Matlab/Simulink and calibration tools would be an advantage, as would language skills, particularly Mandarin/Cantonese.

A full driving license is a necessity and you will be expected to travel to project sites and test tracks/centres in China and elsewhere.
