Our Automotive client based in Warwickshire is looking to recruit a Transmission Design Engineer to join a small Motorsport design team.

Title - Motorsport Transmissions Design Engineer
Salary - £40 - £45k
Location - Warwickshire

High Performance Transmission Products specialise in the design and manufacture of motorsport and prototype transmissions. Employing 130 people dedicated to continuous improvement, and a right first time approach, we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed engineer to join the design team.

The role:
Mechanical design engineer to work in a small experienced team producing layout and detail designs, predominantly for motorsport transmission projects. Mainly CAD based and working alongside production, but with significant customer and supplier interfacing, requiring a flexible approach and willingness to travel.

Qualifications:
Good first degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
Proficient in producing 3D solid models and manufacturing drawings using
ProE or other main platform cad system.
A working knowledge of FEA techniques would be an advantage.
Proven experience in similar environment (recent graduates also welcome).
