Our client is a leading Commercial vehicle sales and maintenance company. They require an experienced electrician to join their team. This role is broad based and would require the successful candidate to do oil changes, servicing , repair and maintenance (brakes , air conditioning etc)

The role will require the successful candidates to carry out fault finding including laptop diagnosis on the Vans, Light and heavy truck along with some buses.

You must be able to competently read electrical schematics.

The shifts are based on a front and back system. 1 in three weeks are on back. Fronts being 8-5 and back being 4-12.

Candidates wishing to apply for this role must have a minimum of an apprenticeship, NVQ3 or equivalent in electrical engineering or have a mechanical qualification but be able to demonstrate relevant experience on the electrical side.

Candidates with previous experience of working on commercial vehicles would be advantageous. Although HGV, buses or Forces leavers would be considered who have worked on large automotive vehicles.
