Working as part of a multinational and multi-disciplined team, the Chief Engineer will be involved in a range of projects for the automotive and motorsport industries. You will be supporting the design, development and integration of leading edge technologies into advanced vehicle systems for Powertrain control & integration, hybrid vehicles and ECU hardware & software. You may also be required to mentor engineers and assist in the development of capability in this area, and capture requirements and define systems specifications.
You will be a degree qualified engineer with automotive industry experience and an electronics development background. Your degree qualification will ideally be in an electronics related subject and you will need to demonstrate:
• An ability to lead a multi-disciplined technical project team
• Customer facing sills and sustainable development of client/development partner relationships
• Good interpersonal skills
• Track record of technology product development within automotive driver assistance systems
• Experience of developing automotive products from concept to production
• Generation of product design and test specifications
Technical knowledge in one or more of the following additional areas is essential:
• Electronic control unit development
• Software lifecycle
• Product development processes and product lifecycles
