Management of the initial training for aircrew and maintainers for the Puma HC Mk 2. Then development of the long term maintainer training for the Puma HC MK2. Future potential for the creation of opportunities for training across the spectrum of military and civil aviation activities and the design, development and delivery of courses to meet those opportunities.
Ensure that all the training activities specified in the Puma LEP D&M Contract are delivered at the right quality, on time and to cost.
Develop the training courses for the Technical Mechanical and Avionic training for RAF technicians on the Puma Mk 2 in the support phase.
Manage the technical training development activities between EC Marignane, MOD, and EC UK.
Act as secretary of the Puma HC Mk 2 Training Working Group.
Develop and maintain the schedule for the Puma LEP training delivery and ensuring that this schedule is coherent with the overall program schedule.
The candidate should have an in depth understanding of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT). Knowledge of and demonstrable skills in the design and development of training solutions in the aerospace industry. Knowledge of CAA Training Regulations. Driving , determination and confidence to create opportunities and ability to lead an team providing instruction to military and civilian students
Excellent management, interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail.
