Job Description
The responsibility of the Site Facilities Procurement Manager in Stevenage is to ensure that indirect goods and services in the scope of Site services and transport & logistics are delivered on time, on quality and at competitive cost.

The UK indirect procurement team being centralised on another site, your main tasks are:

Be the focal point for Site services and transport & logistics internal customers for any indirect procurement topics

Ensure coverage of Stevenage site needs in relevant procurement activities as well as support indirect procurement operations in Stevenage

In order to anticipate major needs, build a procurement plan with your internal customers and monitor it. Support achievement of budget objectives via appropriate action plan.

Cover operationally major one-off procurement for Stevenage Sites and transport & logistics via RFQ/negotiation/contracting.

Follow up performance of local suppliers as well as implementation of contracts and take actions in collaboration with the indirect procurement team.

You will report to the Head of Astrium Indirect Procurement based in Germany.
