Mechanism Test Engineer based Stevenage salary in the region of 26k according to experience
Applicants will need to be
Apprenticeship with experience in relevant discipline. ONC minimum in Mechanical, electrical engineering or physics
with 1) Mechanical with electrical/electronic test equipment exp electromechanical testing or 2) Electrical/electronic with mechanical knowledge and experience of electromechanical testing.
The duties are
Carry out electro/mechanical testing of mechanism assemblies to procedure/requirements. Where necessary prepare test documentation, design test set ups, prepare test equipment, set up and run tests and prepare raw test data for analysis. Be able to work within clean areas under clean conditions. Assist other test groups to carry out specialist tests. E.g. Thermal Vac. Be prepared if necessary to work shifts or extended hours. Be a good communicator able to
work with staff at levels within the company. Liaise with Mechanism Engineering disciplines.
