FUEL SYSTEMS ENGINEER / AVON / £22K-£35K

Great opportunity for a Fuel Systems Engineer to carry out a wide range of activities within our client’s Fuel Team. This challenging & varied role extends to aircraft Refuel, Venting & Tanks/Storage subsystems
We are keen to hear from Fuel Systems Engineers with the following talents:
- Degree or equiv in Engineering or related discipline
- Knowledge of MS based packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Fuel System experience incl Refuel, Vent & Tanks sub-systems
- Exp of whole fuel system
- Familiar with Fluid mechanical equipment used in a Fuel System & Requirements Based Engineering process & DOORS trained
- Flowmaster exp
- Systems definition to safety, reliability, maintainability & particular risk requirements
- Aviation fuel characteristics

ROLE:
* Fuel Systems Engineer to Plan & conduct fluid system design, analysis & modelling tasks using a range of tools & methods
* Trade studies for a wide variety of purposes, documenting each stage & key aspects of the trade
* Ensure all analysis/trade studies are documented & managed appropriately to provide traceability of information/assumption used
* Actively push documents through review/signature process
* Prepare/present technical information at meetings/design reviews
* Interface/build relationships with internal/external suppliers & customers
* Liaise with systems/equipment suppliers
