COMPOSITE STRESS ENGINEER / AVON / £25-35K / GOOD BENEFITS

Excellent role for a competent STRESS ENGINEER wishing to establish themselves in the field of developing composite & metallic stress analysis methods. Key criteria will include:
1) Contributing to sandwich core analysis method development
2) Sizing methods development to support new projects
3) Acting as a lead focal point for inputs to harmonisation of design handbook for the advanced metallic hybrid structure design
To apply for this fantastic opportunity with a multinational company, you will be an accomplished COMPOSITE STRESS ENGINEER with skills as follows:
- Aeronautical Engineering degree or equiv
- Significant work exp (or equivalent) as an AIRCRAFT STRESS ENGINEER involved in analysis of composite / metallic structures using a broad range of standard hand & computer methods
- Ability to develop & coach less experienced stress engineers
- Good understanding of aircraft components & stress analysis methods
- Fatigue & damage tolerance analysis & FEM analysis knowledge advantageous
