Qualifications and/or Skills needed by applicants
Essential:
Engineering honours degree in relevant Engineering subject
Up to 5years experience in an Avionic & Functional (or similarly complex) Validation domain
Rigorous ability to independently analyse / understand complex problems
High quality ethic. Ability to investigate deeply into problems in order to support resolution campaign.
Good communication, written & oral (fluency in English), organisation & presentation skills
Effective at working in a multi-disciplinary team
Results oriented

Able to work with minimum supervision

Openness and flexibility
Experience in an On Board Software engineering development
Excellent understanding of Avionics &/or Functional Validation technical needs
Real time HW-SW integration involving computer and buses (e.g 1553B, SpaceWire,)
Real time simulators and modelling to be used in closed loop testing
Global knowledge on real time software
Good knowledge on close loop test facilities
Electrical integration and compatibility with SW interface
Disciplined & highly methodical approach to Functional or Avionics validation activities
Test script development
Proven ability to diagnose complex technical test problems
Global knowledge of satellite systems, and related actuators & sensors
Good knowledge on satellite function AOCS, DHS, Power RDIR, thermal systems, etc.
Good knowledge on the on-board computer and AOCS (attitude orbit & control systems) equipment
