Senior Medical Writer – International Medical Communications – Middlesex

A leading global medical communications organisation has the unrivalled opportunity for an experienced Medical Writer to join their enterprising editorial team working on the behalf of globally dominant pharmaceutical companies.
You will be involved in producing slide kits, monographs, newsletters, and congress/exhibit materials based on research conducted in specialized areas of medical science. As a senior writer you will provide your professional input to the team on technical or process issues as and when necessary, undertake writing and editing to develop high quality scientific content and communicate effectively and sensitively across all functions. Recent demands have been for endocrinology and oncology so experienced gained within these therapeutic areas would be advantageous. You will also be involved in budgeting and project management and the mentoring and development of junior writers.

Skills
In order to be considered for this role you will have a background in Medical Communications. Ideally you will have several years experience of writing for a Medical Education Agency or pharmaceutical company and specialist knowledge in either target audiences, media or therapy areas.
