Management Accountant – Hitchin

Our Client, a World Leader in their chosen field, and a highly professional outfit based in Hitchin, is recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant.

Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will provide high level financial analysis, guidance and advice to Heads of Department and Project Managers ensuring that the accounting and reporting for each project/sector is accurate and variances are explained.

Key Duties
Provide guidance to Delivery Function on all financial matters – margin, cost analysis, revenue breakdown, efficiency results etc.
Form close working relationship with Heads of Dept/Project Managers
Prepare and explain Monthly results for Heads of Dept/Project Managers
Assist with pricing reviews and ensure that bids are only approved with correct financial integrity achieving business unit and corporate expectations.
Provide financial analysis for UK Financial planning & Analysis Manager and North Europe FD
Ensure that all corporate reporting deadlines are met with accurate and informative information
Design and implement new forecasting model for European Business Unit combining backlog and pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels including non – Finance members and senior management. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical ability and have strong decision making skills.
