Financial Management Accountant – North London

A successful, high profile Blue Chip organisation is now seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Management Accountant to be based in North London.

Your role will be to produce accurate and timely management accounts and support budget holders to fulfil their financial responsibilities, to ensure that all accounting entries are processed accurately and on a timely basis, to manage three Finance staff and induct, train and manage those staff in line with the organisation’s procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a Part-qualified accountant or fully qualified AAT and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of accounting concepts.

You will also have;
At least two years’ experience of working in a busy Finance Department in a financial or management accounting role.
Experience of completing complex accounting reconciliations.
Excellent IT skills; proficient in the use of excel and computerised accounting packages.
Demonstrable experience of managing, coaching and developing staff
Experience of producing detailed and accurate financial reports for budget holders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial people.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Management Accountant, Part Qualified Accountant, Accountant and living within a commutable distance of North London, London, Hertfordshire or willing to relocate.

Salary in the region of £28,000 to £30,000
