A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced statistical programmer in Scotland.
A leading global clinical research organisation is seeking a statistical programmer to join their welcoming team within the Edinburgh office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a statistical programmer looking for a diverse and challenging role, within a continuously growing international clinical research organisation.
As the senior statistical programmer you will act as the key representative for all statistical duties. You will be the main company contact with sponsors for SAS/statistical programming and will be expected to attend both company and client meetings on a regular basis. As the senior statistical programmer your technical duties will include the programming and validation of CRF and analysis data sets, tables, listings and figures, ensuring that these adhere to the client’s specific timelines and budgets. In addition to this you will be responsible for the coordination, creation and maintenance of the statistical programming budgets, and may also function as the lead statistician on complex projects, mentoring and tutoring junior members of the statistical programming team.
As a successful candidate you should have a BSc in statistics. Ideally two years + experience a statistical programmer within a clinical research organistaion or pharmaceutical company. You should have experience using SAS v8 and v9 along with strong statistical analysis skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also an advantage.
