Candidates should possess good technical and electrical background, along with a knowledge of the practical application of engineering design & HVAC principles and be able to understand electrical engineering drawings.
An integral part of our Maintenance Support team, you’ll be responsible for improving the reliability of our Maintenance and Project contracts – investigating root causes of failures and taking action to prevent reoccurrence. Sometimes that will mean carrying out feasibility studies and recommending process change or modifications; at other times you’ll be writing up reports and sharing information with the team within the office based at North Shields..
Whatever you do, you’ll have complete autonomy to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in an environment where every day is different. But you won’t be on your own. You’ll have the support of the Service & Support Co-ordinators and be in constant contact with our other Engineers, talking on the phone and meeting up to share your findings.
Would benefit from a knowledge of client liaison and planning and be able to work to tight time deadlines and operate effectively under pressure.
Automatic Controls knowledge & experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training & support will be given to the right candidate.
This is a full time, permanent position.
Hours of Work : 8.30a.m. – 5.00p.m.
Full driving licence is necessary.
REMUNERATION
Circa £18-£20K plus overtime per annum (depending on experience), 22 days holiday per annum
