An amazing opportunity is now available for a Process Development Technologist to join a major independent research organisation based in Cheltenham/Gloucester. This leading establishment is currently recruiting for a Food Technologist from a Chemical Engineering/Food Technology background or equivalent to be part of the food manufacturing department.

The successful candidate will become part of an award winning team that consists of experienced engineers and technologists. You will be involved in a variety of projects which will include short term contracts as well as long term research and consultancy projects for leading industries within the food sector.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in Chemical Engineering or Food Technology and equivalent and have previous research experience in food process and/or product development. You should have the ability to plan and manage research projects from initiation, through to experimental design to reporting and commercial exploitation.
You will be expected to provide clients with technical advice and liaise with research funding bodies and submit appropriate R&D proposals.
