Our Client, a world leading business services entity, based at their impressive UK Headquarters in Hertfordshire, has an excellent opportunity to cover a 9 month maternity contract for a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing commercial analysis of management information across the business, providing commercial support to the Business Directors, Financial Controller and the Commercial Accountant. Day to day responsibilities analysing services and product margins, detailed divisional commentaries, P&L review meetings, provide ad hoc reports to Finance and Business Managers, produce concise and accurate balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, have a full ownership and understanding balance sheet values, support the division during the planning process and provide analysis and support to managers to enable submission of plans to finance. The successful candidate will be ideally be Part Qualified CIMA although QBE will be considered with strong commercial analysis experience in a management accounting function. You experience will have been gained recently in a large company environment and you will possess excellent communication skills to liaise with finance and non finance managers. You will have superb presentational skills with the ability to challenge senior management and be proficient with MS Excel to an Intermediate/Advanced Level. You must be immediately available to commence work and be prepared to commit for 9 months.
