An exciting opportunity, with a progressive business, that is seeking a Part or fully Qualified Business Analyst to join its commercial finance team.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager but working closely with Commercial Directors the role is responsible for detailed analysis and reporting of pipeline and key sales metrics. You will also be responsible for providing day-to-day financial decision support to the Commercial teams, identifying gaps to meeting revenue targets and providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Key Accountability’s include; Developing tools for reporting/tracking sales pipelines and monthly sales performance; tracking sales success rates to identify trends and make recommendations for improving effectiveness of sales teams; Analyse cost of sales force vs contribution generated; Recommend solutions to address potential revenue gaps/risks; Working with the Finance Director and Operational Directors to assist in setting revenue targets and providing monthly reporting to track progress; Develop and manage forecasting tools and models; Develop and manage the commission schemes including reporting on commission payments, analysis, calculating accruals and suggestions for improvement.

The successful candidate will be Part or fully Qualified CIMA / ACCA or ACA with strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to use information and transform analysis into workable action plans to improve business results. Strong Excel skills are a prerequisite.
